Our university recently welcomed a delegation from the University of Science and
Technologies (USAT), Uzbekistan, to discuss potential areas of academic collaboration. The
delegation was composed of Murod Akhmedov, Vice-Rector; Jokhongir Odilov, Head of the
International Relations Department; and Naim Khojikulov, Dean of Faculty.
During the visit, both institutions exchanged ideas on various fields of cooperation, including:
student, academic, and administrative staff exchange programs, joint scientific research
projects, academic publications, and international conferences, Orhun Exchange Program,
promoting academic mobility and strengthening international academic networks.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to initiate a Memorandum of Understanding
(MoU) to formalize the partnership. Both sides expressed their mutual hopes that this
collaboration will lead to long-term, fruitful outcomes and create valuable opportunities for
students and academics alike. The meeting concluded with a mutual exchange of plaques.
