In line with its internationalization vision and commitment to expanding global academic cooperation, Ibn Haldun University participated in the EAIE 2026 Conference and Exhibition, organized by the European Association for International Education (EAIE) in Glasgow, Scotland, from 8 to 11 September 2026.
Throughout the conference and exhibition, the Ibn Haldun University delegation held meetings with representatives of universities and higher education institutions from various countries. The discussions focused on strengthening existing institutional partnerships, enhancing Erasmus+ student and staff mobility, expanding cooperation into new academic fields, and establishing sustainable partnerships with prospective institutions.
Supported by the Turkish National Agency, the Study in Türkiye pavilion brought together 96 universities from Türkiye. As part of the program, İlker Astarcı, President of the Turkish National Agency, presented the University’s representatives with Turkish flag pins, in memory of the event.
Turkish Universities Come Together in Glasgow
As part of EAIE 2026, the Turkish National Agency hosted its traditional dinner for the third consecutive year, bringing together representatives of Turkish universities in a warm atmosphere. The gathering provided an opportunity to strengthen communication among institutions and exchange views on shared priorities in international higher education.
The meetings held during EAIE 2026 are foreseen to enhance Ibn Haldun University’s visibility within global higher education networks, strengthen its academic relations, and contribute to the creation of new international opportunities for our students and academics.
