Focusing on centralized projects carried out directly by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ Programme, the meeting brought together experienced institutions and experts in the field.
The event aimed to raise awareness of project types such as capacity building, innovative partnerships, and large-scale collaborations; to provide insights into project writing and implementation processes; and to enhance the institutional capacities of participants through the sharing of best practices. In this respect, the meeting made a significant contribution by offering universities and relevant stakeholders a strategic perspective on improving the quality of existing projects and exploring new project opportunities.
The programme commenced with opening remarks by Prof. Dr. Atilla Arkan, Rector of Ibn Haldun University, and İlker Astarcı, President of the Turkish National Agency. Following the opening speeches, a commemorative gift was presented to Mr. Astarcı.
During the presentation session, Dr. Rana Kasapoğlu Önder, Head of Department at the Turkish National Agency, delivered valuable insights. This was followed by comprehensive presentations on centralized projects by Turkish National Agency experts Damla Erdem, Arzu Çetin, and Dr. Handan Boyar.
The programme also featured presentations by Ayşe Toy Par from Galatasaray University and Prof. Dr. Cem Bülent Üstündağ from Yıldız Technical University, who shared their previous experiences and examples of best practices related to the session topics.
Organized under the coordination of the Erasmus and International Programmes Directorate, operating within the International Office of Ibn Haldun University, the event concluded with a closing and evaluation session.
