Ibn Haldun University Students to Gain Academic and Cultural Experience Through the U.S. Summer School Program
Students participating in the program will take part in a comprehensive international experience designed to support their academic, cultural, and professional development through visits to leading academic and institutional organizations across the United States.

Organized annually by Ibn Haldun University for preparatory school and first-year undergraduate students who meet specific academic achievement criteria, the U.S. Summer School Program will be held from July 21 to August 10, 2026, in the states of Maryland and New York.

During the first phase of the program, students will visit leading think tanks, including SETA and the Atlantic Council, as well as Türkiye's diplomatic missions in the United States, providing them with the opportunity to engage with experts from various fields. Participants will also enhance their language skills through an intensive five-day program organized in collaboration with the University of Maryland, while gaining deeper insight into the region through a series of historical and cultural visits.

As part of the second phase, students will visit Philadelphia, one of the United States' most prominent cities, during a day trip organized on their way to New York. Throughout the New York program, participants will visit leading universities, museums, and civil society organizations across the city. They will also attend seminars delivered by distinguished academics and researchers at the TÜRKEN Foundation facilities.

The Ibn Haldun University U.S. Summer School Program is expected to make a significant contribution to students' academic and personal development while broadening their global perspectives, fostering intercultural awareness, and providing valuable international experience.
