We are pleased to announce that as of 2025, we, as Ibn Haldun University have officially activated our participation in the Orhun Exchange Program. The program is carried within the framework of the Turkic Universities Union (TÜRKÜNİB), which operates under the Organization of Turkic States (formerly known as the Turkic Council), of which our university has become a member in the previous years.
The Orhun Exchange Program facilitates student and academic staff mobility among member universities of the Organization of Turkic States. Its primary goal is to foster academic and cultural ties among the youth of the Turkic world by enabling students to study at universities in other member countries, thereby promoting academic advance of our students and academic members.
Applications for the program have opened in the Spring semester of the 2024–2025 academic year. Travel expenses for students and academic staff participating in the exchange during the 2025–2026 academic year will be covered by our university. Other services such as accommodation and meals will vary depending on the host institution. In addition to this, Ibn Haldun University will welcome students and academics from across the Turkic world as part of the exchange program.
Alongside Türkiye, the program includes Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Hungary. With its growing momentum in recent years, the Orhun Exchange Program is expected to make a meaningful contribution to the integration and cooperation of the Turkic world.
