During the meeting held at SESRIC's headquarters in Ankara on January 8, 2026, Ibn Haldun University President Prof. Dr. Atilla Arkan and SESRIC Director General Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk came together to outline the framework for the relationship to be established between the two institutions. The agreement signed following the meeting aims to carry out joint projects, particularly in the areas of data management and statistical capacity building.
The agreement with SESRIC, an international organization headquartered in Turkey, also opens new internship and career opportunities for our students. Under this partnership, Ibn Haldun University students will be offered opportunities to work as interns and rapporteurs at SESRIC and be employed. In addition, our students are expected to actively participate in special programs such as SESRIC's “New Talent Capacity Building Program” (SET-CaB).
The agreement also aims to promote research cooperation in the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), support technical and vocational education and training (TVET), and establish communication bridges with other Islamic world universities that SESRIC cooperates with.
