UMY Delegation Visits Our University: New Steps Toward Strengthening Academic Collaboration
Our University hosted the delegation from its partner institution, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY), located in Indonesia, to plan new initiatives aimed at enhancing academic cooperation between the two universities.

During the visit, a series of meetings and planning sessions were held to strengthen the academic partnership. The sessions were attended by our University’s deans and vice deans, representatives from the International Relations Office, and academic unit representatives from UMY.

Participants exchanged ideas through detailed presentations on joint programs and potential areas of collaboration, discussing prospective academic initiatives to be implemented in the near future.

In the second part of the meeting, the timeline and implementation methods of the planned activities were determined. Within this scope, both parties agreed to launch joint online teaching activities soon. Student mobility was also discussed, particularly in relation to the first round of student nominations already conducted under the existing agreement.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their hope that the developing partnership would lead to a productive, sustainable, and long-term collaboration for both students and academics. The visit ended with an exchange of gifts between the two institutions.
